Districts
applying for technology funding must supply an assurance that financial
resources provided under the Ed Tech program will supplement and not
supplant state and/or local funds that would otherwise be used for the
proposed activities.

Trends Report:
The State
Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) has released its
SETDA’s National Trends Report 2007 which contains
information from
the
surveys completed by Fifty States and DC on the impact of NCLB’s Title
IID, Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) program, representing
99% of the federal dollars for educational technology allocated across
the country in 2005-2006. The full report is available at
