Educational Technology Policy and Programs
The University of the State of New York (USNY) is an interconnected system of educational services capable of transforming learning environments statewide through its use of technology. Our vision for educational technology policy and programs is to ensure that all New York learners are prepared for both the world of today and the world of tomorrow - a world encompassing issues, needs, occupations, and technologies as yet unknown.
Our Mission
- Develop and implement the USNY Statewide Educational Technology Plan.
- Monitor progress and evaluate results of the plan's implementation.
- Coordinate NYSED programs and initiatives to foster and implement learning technologies across multiple environments statewide.
- Coordinate and facilitate educational programs and initiatives pertaining to technology integration with other NYSED offices and outside agencies.
- Facilitate alignment of USNY partners for increased learning opportunities and student achievement.
