bullet The Consolidated Application for NCLB/Title II Part D: Enhancing Education through Technology (EETT) 2008-09 funds requires applicants to complete the online checklist form as the Title IID Progress Report, with new data elements requirement. Applicants must complete the online form and submit a paper copy of the completed form together with other required application docments including budget form (FS-10) and supporting budget narrative. bullet The second round of Enhancing Education through Technology (EETT) Competitive Grant Awards have been granted to 28 consortia through out New York State. The theme-based education technology projects are funded for two years to promote technology integration into curriculum and instruction from January, 2008 to December, 2009.

bullet New York State Education Law on Internet Safety states that any school district in the state may provide to pupils in grades kindergarten through twelve, instruction designed to promote the proper and safe use of the Internet. Resources on Internet Security and Safe Usage in schools are gathered here for teachers, students and parents.

bullet There are a number of educational programs designed to promote the use of technology for effective teaching and learning in New York schools. General information is provided for a few of such programs administered by NYSED.
