
HIV / AIDS Online Professional Development Course
The HIV/AIDS Online Course is a web-based, self-study professional development opportunity for self-directed education professionals who have responsibility for teaching students about the prevention of HIV, sexually transmitted diseases, and unintended pregnancy. This course is framed from a supportive learning environment perspective and coordinated school health approach. The HIV/AIDS Online Course is managed by the Statewide Student Support Services Technical Assistance Center and supported through funding from the NYS Department of Health, AIDS Institute. There is no cost to this training. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Prospective participants may wish to check with their administration for acceptability using this course to meet the ongoing, yearly, professional development requirements.This course is estimated to require 20 hours to complete.
