What Kids Can Do, Inc. (WKCD)
is a national not-for-profit organization founded in 2001 for the purpose
of making public the voices and views of adolescents. On its website, WKCD
documents young people's lives, learning, and work, and their partnerships
with adults both in and out of school. |

National Clearinghouse on Families & Youth (NCFY)
- an online database of
youth-related publications and current youth initiatives. Includes free
or low-cost publications and abstracts of research and informative
documents. Recent additions:
community-based youth mentoring and children of incarcerated parents;
information related to runaway and homeless youth, street outreach,
positive youth development, youth resiliency, and
transition to independent living. |
