Notice of  Proposed Amended Regulations

for

the Uniform Violent And Disruptive Incident Reporting System

 

The State Education Department proposes to amend section 100.2(gg) of  the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education to improve the uniform violent and disruptive incident reporting system by which school districts, boards of cooperative educational services, charter schools and county vocational education and extension boards shall annually report to the Commissioner information concerning violent and disruptive incidents that occurred in the prior school year.

 

It is anticipated that a Notice of Proposed Rule Making will be published in the State Register on November 9, 2005 and that the proposed amendment will be presented to the Board of Regents for adoption at their January 9-10, 2006 meeting.  The Department must receive public comment regarding these proposed amendments by December  27, 2005.
