Directions:

• This report should include assessment results for all students.
• In the Grade Column, please indicate the total number of students who participated in the summer program, at each grade level. The student totals should equal the enrollment totals on the previous page.
• Indicate the number of students at each Instructional Recommendation level (Intensive, Strategic, Benchmark) at the Beginning-of-Summer (BOS) and at the End-of-Summer (EOS). Results from the end of the 2005-06 school year (EOY) may be used as baseline for BOS.

Summer School Instructional Effectiveness Analysis

Directions:

• Determine End of Year (EOY) Instructional Recommendation for each student by using the May outcome results or by screening students at the beginning of the summer program (BOS).
• Compare EOY/BOS results to the End of Summer (EOS) achievement on individual probes.
• Provide a narrative summary of the student achievement trends at each grade level. Describe the story behind the numbers. Include information on the strengths and challenges of the summer instructional program and suggestions for instructional strategy changes.
