Smart Scholars

This program targets grants to partnerships consisting of institutions of higher education and public schools (especially those serving students in high need/very high need schools), charter schools, and Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES). The goal is to systemically create early college high school partnerships through which students will have an opportunity to take an accelerated program of study to complete a high school diploma while earning college credits.

Learn and Serve America: K-12 School-Bases Program (LSA)

Learn and Serve America: K-12 School-Based Program (LSA) has three purposes:  (1) to develop, implement, and integrate service-learning into schools wherein students in grades K-12 have opportunities to volunteer their service for the benefit of others and their community; (2) to foster civic responsibility, participation, service and knowledge within our young people; and (3) to increase the number of adults who volunteer in school-based, service-learning programs.
