On July 16, 1999, the Board of Regents approved revisions to Sections 100.1, 100.2, 100.3, 100.4, 100.5, 100.6, 100.7, 100.8 and 100.9 of the Commissioner's Regulations relating to general education and diploma requirements. These amendments align the regulations with new Regents policy relating to higher learning standards, the State assessment system and graduation requirements. This document contains the full text of these Sections of the Commissioner's Regulations and includes both the July 1999 revisions as well as the regulatory language that was not revised. Additional changes in these Sections of the regulations are anticipated over the next few years and this document will be periodically updated.
