IMPORTANT NOTICE TO TEACHERS

Grade 5 Elementary-Level Social Studies Test

 November 16 – 17, 2005

            This notice pertains to the scoring of Document 3 of the Grade 5 Elementary-Level Social Studies Test.  On page 5 of the Rating Guide for Booklet 2, one of the examples listed for a Score of 0 is to make carts.  That response should have been listed under a Score of 1.0 or 0.5.

The response to make carts is correct and should be awarded ½ credit.

Please photocopy this notice and give a copy of it to each teacher scoring the Grade 5 Elementary-Level Social Studies Test.
