INFORMATION ABOUT ORDERING 2006 NYSESLAT

Please Note: NYSESLAT Additional Orders
Schools which missed the March 10th deadline for ordering NYSESLAT can use the Spectrum system to submit any late orders.  Please note: orders made after the close of the March 10, 2006 window will be delivered to schools slightly after the published delivery dates.

The spring 2006 administration of the New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSESLAT) has been scheduled for April 24 to May 19, 2006. Test booklets, directions for administration, and school administration manuals are being prepared by Harcourt Assessment under contract with the New York State Education Department (NYSED).

Harcourt Assessment mailed a letter and an instructional guide for ordering these materials to the principals of public, charter, and nonpublic schools.

All orders will be placed via the internet. The Harcourt Spectrum Instructional Guide will provide information on how to initiate a NYSESLAT test order using their web address. Orders should be made by the school principal or designated staff person.  Only one order per school building will be accepted. 

The NYSESLAT ordering window has been extended to Friday, March 10, 2006.

Questions about NYSESLAT orders should also be directed to Harcourt's Customer Service Center (CSC) at 1-800-763-2306 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. or email customersupportcenter@harcourt.com.  Please make sure to include the district name, school name and BEDS code.
