Change in the Scoring Period for the 2007-08 New York State Alternate Assessment

 

This memorandum is to notify you that the scoring period for the 2007-08 New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA) was changed.  The original scoring period for NYSAA was March 31, 2008 through May 9, 2008.  The scoring period will now be March 3, 2008 through April 11, 2008.  All NYSAA datafolios from in- and out-of-district programs must be sent to the Scoring Site Coordinators by February 15, 2008.

This change will allow for post-operational datafolio collection for standard setting.  The standard setting is required under the Peer Review by the United States Department of Education.
