Mathematics Test
Spanish Edition Only
May 10-11, 2005
On the Spanish edition only of the Grade 8 Mathematics Test, there is an omission in Book 2, Question 29.
In the instruction to students, the Spanish word for “label” is missing. Scorers should not deduct score points for Question 29 for responses missing labels for those students who used the Spanish edition of this test, either exclusively or in conjunction with the English edition.
All other test questions are to be scored according to the scoring materials provided by the Department.
Please photocopy this notice and deliver a copy to all locations where the
Spanish edition of this test is being scored.
