Regents Examination in United States History and Government – June 2005

Chart for Converting Total Test Raw Scores to Final Examination Scores (Scaled Scores)

To determine the student’s final score, locate the student’s total essay score across the top of the chart and the total Part I and Part IIIA score down the side of the chart.  The point where the two scores intersect is the student’s final examination score.  For example, a student receiving a total essay score of 6 and a total Part I and Part III A score of 44 would receive a final examination score of 81.
