Grade 8 Intermediate-Level Social Studies Test — June 2005
Chart for Determining the Final Test Score (Use for June 2005 test only.)

To determine the student’s final score, locate the student’s essay score across the top of the chart and the total Part I, Part II, and Part III A score down the side of the chart. The point where those two scores intersect is the student’s final test score. For example, a student receiving an essay score of 3 and a total Part I, Part II, and Part III A score of 61 would receive a final test score of 80.
