home with my 2 kids and doing some freelance writing on the side. My theatre training is
very handy, as I often have to act out the same scene (I'm not Thomas the Tank Engine but
I play him on TV...) a few dozen times a day. ;) Comments:
Seems
a loooong time ago now, but I have fond memories. I look forward to hearing about those

What
I'm doing now: I
just transferred
schools but I'm still a musical theater major. I'm also studying to be a choreographer.
Comments: The summer I spent at NYSSSA made me realize that Theater was what wanted to do with my
life. James Luse was one of the most amazing teachers I have come in contact with and
I still use the notes I took in his class to this day.

| What I'm doing now: I am a senior at Syracuse University studying Magazine Journalism, women's studies, policy studies and working on my thesis. I hope to move to NYC when I am finished with my studies in Spring 2003 and work for a magazine or as a youth advocate.
Comments:
I developed great friendships. Also, the feedback, hard work and ability improve greatly improved my confidence and personal ability to learn more openly. The instructors were wonderful and honest. |

What I'm doing now: I live as an actress in
Berlin. Since the end of acting school, I did
plays at different theaters and several TV productions.
Comments: When I did NYSSSA, I was not
experienced in acting and I felt incapable to keep up with so
talented students who took part in my year's class. During the
program, I was encouraged and I got to learn a lot. I recognized I
was one of those gifted students.
