Comments: I had the most wonderful summer that year. I felt a sense of freedom and 
life that I never experienced before.  Studying drawing and sculpture for 
that one month really influenced my style and my goals in life.

Comments:  I met some people that summer who have remained a huge part of my life since. It's a small world & NYSSSA friends crop up in those moments of life where looking back you see how important those people & times really are/ were.

Comments: The SSA provided me with a chance to interact with professional artists to build a strong portfolio that helped me get accepted to art school. Although I did not complete a degree in art, NYSSA gave me confidence in my ability and creativity.

Comments:: That was probably the best summer I can remember. Although at times it was hard work it all paid off in the end and I had a wonderful time. The next summer I went off to NYC to Parsons School of Design to pursue a degree in the arts.
