Comments: I had the most wonderful summer that year. I felt a sense of freedom and
life that I never experienced before. Studying drawing and sculpture for
that one month really influenced my style and my goals in life. |

I am working as a student intern at Sandia National
Laboratories, CA in the microsystems processing department
Comments: The SSA provided me with a chance to
interact with professional artists to build a strong
portfolio that helped me get accepted to art school.
Although I did not complete a degree in art, NYSSA gave me
confidence in my ability and creativity. |

What I'm doing now: I
am in Orlando, FL now working as a Photo Editor @ Epcot
(Disney). I am looking forward to finding more work in the
Graphic Arts Field as well as Illustration.
Comments:: That was probably the best summer I can
remember. Although at times it was hard work it all paid
off in the end and I had a wonderful time. The next summer
I went off to NYC to Parsons School of Design to pursue a
degree in the arts. |
