What I'm doing now: I
live in a warehouse in Phila. that I renovated onto studio
spaces. I make sculpture and The Univ.of the Arts keeps me
from starving. I'm working on a recording all of my
memories in phosphorescent paint in a large card catalog.
Comments:
NYSSA was the first time I experienced a community
that was focused on art. I had never met so many people so
like myself and it helped me decide to go to art school.

What
I'm doing now: I am a full time librarian but paint
and draw in a studio at home.
Comments: It was great to be around people who
actually think about art and be able to spend every day
working on art. This influenced my path in college, and I
have a continuing need to be working on and thinking about
art on a regular basis.

Comments: I had a
great experience at NYSSSA. I learned so much that year
and made some great friends that I am still in touch
with. I also reconnected with old friends through
myspace as well as this alumni site.

What I'm doing now: Staff writer and
photographer for the OBSERVER newspaper in
Dunkirk, NY. When I'm not doing that, I'm a volunteer
firefighter/EMT and when I'm not doing that I'm a
husband and father and when I'm not doing that I'm still
an artist in there somewhere...
