What I learned from NYSSSA was much more than
"choral
studies".

I'm doing now: Teaching music 1 day a week at a
Montessori school, tutoring for the Univ of Kentucky
Athletics Dept, & teaching private piano. Dr. McCorvey
and I are putting together a benefit recital/concert
to start a scholarship at UK in memory of my parents.
Comments: NYSSSA was the greatest experience of
my pre-college life. If I hadn't gone there, I never
would have met Dr. McCorvey, and he turned out to be
my studio professor in college. NYSSSA firmly
planted my feet on the path to my current situation. |

I am married and working in web development. My wife
and I do participate in community theatre.
Comments: The
school solidified my decision to pursue music in
college and the social experience was invaluable. I
