What
I'm doing now: I am a struggling actor in NYC and
loving every minute of it.
Comments: NYSSSA changed my life. Before that
summer, I was very shy and I thought I was wierd
because I was different. That summer gave me a new found
courage and self assurance that has always stayed
with me.

I thoroughly enjoyed my all-too-brief stint at SUNY

I'm doing now: I am President of the Rochester
International Film Festival and am in post-production on
my second feature-length digital motion picture
Comments:
NYSSSA gave me my first opportunity to meet other
filmmakers and film buffs my age, and exposed me not only
to a variety of foreign, independent and avant-garde films
but also to the larger world of art in general. |

What I'm doing
now: Completing MFA studies in NYC
Comments: That summer changed my life. Several of us from
NYSSSMA 1990 at Univ. Buffalo have become established filmmakers, esp. Lisa Bazadona
(Screenwriter/Prod. of widely released feature SWIMMING, in 2002) and Sal
Ciavarello(Dir./Prod. in NYC).
