What I'm doing now: After years of working at universities, received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Boston Univ. Currently a research asst. prof. at the Boston Univ. Center for Psych. Rehab.  I continue to find music a source of great pleasure and inspiration.

Comments: Attending the School of Orchestral Studies was a wonderful opportunity, and greatly enhanced  my music school experience when getting my B.Mus.  It was with great regret that I turned music from a vocation to an avocation in my 20's.

What I'm doing now: I am a professional flutist and member of Greensboro Symphony Orchestra; instructor Elon University; instructor Greensboro Cit Arts; clinician United Musical instruments.

Comments: The school of orchestral studies was a wonderful opportunity. I learned so much musically from members of the Philadelphia Orchestra the 2 summers I attended. Thank you for the great training!

What I'm doing now: administrative assistant at the Irvine Nature Center-Stevenson, MD

Comments: The memories forged during my 3 summers at NYSSA, although nearly 30 yrs ago, remain vivid, rewarding & positive. They were times of inspiration, creativity & quality instruction on a scale not equaled by any other program in which I participated.

What I'm doing now: Today, I have a private teaching studio. I rehair and repair bows in my bow shop, and I do a little free-lancing.

Comments: It was a wonderful experience. Not only was I exposed to musicians of high quality, but I met some awfully nice people.
