The teacher has to prepare lectures and work with the library media specialist to determine necessary materials. This unit takes about six weeks, depending upon the length of the overview. One full week was spent on research in the library, on the Internet and on the CD-ROMs. Students had to spend time outside of class to supplement the class time allocated to research. Two class days are required for the Museum.
