The Ridgewood Bushwick Extended School Day program is operating out of our new youth Center which is located at 1474 Gates Avenue, Brooklyn, 11237. The youth center has a full scale High school regulation sized gym in which we are able to offer many sports and recreation activities. Our Tech lab enables us to offer computer programming and soon a computer graphics and videography class. Our new dance room houses several dance and drama courses. Our Art room is used for painting, arts and crafts and soon a new cartooning class. The youth center has seven classrooms which are used for academic instruction, workshops, etc... All BSD participants receive snack daily in our multipurpose room which also is place where students can play pool, air hockey, board games or just watch a movie on movie day. There are 150 students who attend the program Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6 pm. The students in our program are in grades 6 to 10.
