Learning through an Expanded Arts Program (LEAP)
Leap uses a variety of hands-on experiences to stimulate curiosity and foster creativity. For example: students design and create working robots to solve simple problems from making tea to popping balloons.
Leap brings teaching artists and experts from artists to zoologists into the classroom to work with teachers and students. For example, classes work with an archeologist to conduct actual digs in their studies of American history.
Partnering with Public School 14 in the Bronx it was determined that pupils that demonstrate disruptive would benefit with the following after school services: 1) Music appreciation and Keyboarding, 2)cartooning and graphic novels, 3) creative writing and 4)puppetry
