Description of
methods and strategies for serving eligible students with disabilities: |
Reading
strategies are based upon the principles of Orton Gillingham. Both
reading and math strategies will include a diagnostic-prescriptive
approach that begins with testing. Materials are then chosen based
upon the skill deficits to be remediated. Non-traditional
materials, such as manipulatives, will be used as appropriate.
These methods are well suited to serving students with disabilities. |
