Evidence that services have been effective: |
The curriculum to be used is built on more than a
decade of scientifically based research and the collaboration of
reading experts. It has been supported in part by U.S. Department
of Education-funded research at Vanderbilt University. Developed in
clinical and classroom settings, the program is uniquely positioned
to address the needs of struggling readers. The curriculum is
supported by empirical research and has produced significant,
measurable improvements in student achievement. |

Quarterly reports via US Postal Services to the Title One office will contain progress reports & attendance records. Personalized lesson plans & progress reports will be maintained at the SES site, available for review with parents, teachers & LEA. Monthly parent nights will be held to discuss student's progress.
