Description of methods and strategies for serving
eligible students with disabilities: |
We believe strongly that all students with
disabilities should have the same opportunities, the same education and
the same services as those received by students without disabilities.
Therefore, every effort is made to comply with the IDEA and ADA
government protections. We will work with the student's 504 and
IEP plans and provide appropriate support to comply with these plans.
Our staff members hold ESE (Exceptional Special Education) and VE
(Varying Exceptionalities) certifications. Many of our staff are
bilingual and hold ESOL/ESL certifications. We continually adapt
our recruiting process to meet the specific needs of the populations we
serve. |

Description of methods and strategies for serving
eligible students with limited English proficiency: |
Our staff include tutors who hold ESOL/ESL
certifications. We further address the needs of students with
limited English proficiency by providing research-recommended teacher
modeling, group practice, and individual practice. Teachers
utilize English as the language of instruction, since teachers are the
English-speaking role models for students. Program materials
reflect a wide range of peoples and cultures. |
