Evidence that
services have been effective: |
The Club Z!
program has clearly accelerated the achievement of Title I students in
Title I schools. In fact, the Club Z! program is so effective that in
some cases it has eliminated the need for Supplemental Education
Services in certain school districts. For example, in the school year
of 2002-2003 Club Z! was the sole provider of SES in Forsyth County,
Georgia. Approximately 75 Title I students participated in the Club
Z! SES program. Students in the Club Z! program experienced
unprecedented results, “some of those students jumped as many as three
grade levels”, which clearly demonstrates that Club Z! tutorial
services create success for Title I students. Upon the completion of
the program, “All the schools in Forsyth County leapt right off the
failing schools list, so their students were no longer eligible for
tutoring services” (Siobhan).

Will
transportation to the service location be provided at no charge if
requested? (Note: LEAs are not required to provide or pay for
transportation) |
Club Z! is
convenient and accessible to all qualified students. Our tutors go
directly to each student’s house – which eliminates any transportation
on the parent(s)/guardian(s) behalf. Club Z! in home tutoring
requires that a parent or legal guardian be present in the home at all
times during each session. Club Z! tutoring is easily accessible by
public transportation as well, because Club Z! sessions can also be
held at locations based on each families needs. For example, sessions
are held on school grounds (where applicable and under agreement with
school/district), at community centers, public libraries, or other
public facilities to be determined on a per case basis. Accessibility
to public transportation is always taken into account before a
location is determined. |
