A survey of children
in participating schools revealed that a summer session at Vacamas
resulted in a .5 improvement in overall grade point average as compared
to non-participating students. A study of children participating in New
York City’s Board of Education’s Break-Aways Program also showed marked
improvements in participants’ test scores. |
