Guidelines for Applying for NYSED Approval

of Curriculum and Providers of Training

Commissioner's regulations 170.12(a) cites the subject areas NYSED considers to be essential for school board member training provided pursuant to Chapter 263 of the Laws of 2005.  This can be found at: http://emsc33.nysed.gov/mgtserv/accountability_regs06.htm
 
Applicants should submit a detailed outline (3-10 pages) detailing the depth and breadth of content in the topics noted in the regulations.
 
In addition the curriculum should clearly state the objectives of the training and applicants should submit resumes for any training providers to the following address:
