Known Issues
- Timestamps on Assessment report PDFs (Summary Reports; ISRs) not yet implemented.
- Reading First reports PDF have small font size when printed. Please keep an electronic copy that can be used for zooming in on detail.
- Excel reports do not generate for AVRs. Suggested workaround: must use PDF for file download. May also manually create Excel report by click-dragging cursor over entirety of HTML report content (to highlight), copying, opening blank Excel workbook, and Paste Special into blank spreadsheet.
- In 2007-08 AVRs (Grades 3-8 and High School), student detail reports may take a long time to return when using district-level nySTART accounts. School-level nySTART accounts return in expected (nominal) times. Strongly suggested workaround: districts should create (OR have school-level Admin create) an Admin or Regular (Non-Admin) Staff accounts for this purpose. This performance issue is still being investigated and will not likely be resolved before verification close.
- PDF files do not generate for Tested/Not
Tested reports. Suggested workaround: Download Excel reports instead, which
generate in seconds (15 to 30 seconds for small populations in the few
hundreds; ~1m for populations around 1000.) Use an average of 1m/1000 records
to estimate download time needed.
- In NYSTP Summary Reports, data for 'Not Migrant' are not displayed.
- Report layout in Firefox may not display
properly. If you experience this, please take screenshots and document
the click-path (steps taken to reach improper display page) along with
browser version (under menu path: Help > About Mozilla Firefox) and
nySTART account type. If you are a BUGtrack account-holder, log there.

Defects Fixed
- During nySTART Account creation process, outdated School Years were inadvertently referenced as the available datasets. Text has been modified to not specifically reference particular sets of data.
