nySTART
- Login Page
- Updated login page:
New format; improved performance; new links (under "How should I use the site?") to relocate text previously displayed on main page (re: performance benchmarks, technical settings, etc.)
- Lobby
- Re-engineered internal Lobby pages:
Revised format; improved performance.
Not Available
The nySTART application on 6/12/2008 will NOT contain the following:
- Within the Report Cards section: Non-Accountability sections of the 2006-07 Accountability and Overview Reports; 2006-07 Comprehensive Information Reports.
- 2007-08 Summary Reports
Known Issues
- NYSTP 2007-08 Social Studies reports are not generating. A fix is ready to deploy and will be put into production with next release.
- PDF files do not generate for Tested/Not Tested reports. Suggested workaround: Download Excel reports instead, which generate in seconds (15 to 30 seconds for small populations in the few hundreds; ~1m for populations around 1000.) Use an average of 1m/1000 records to estimate download time needed.
- Report layout in Firefox may not display properly. If you experience this, please take screenshots and document the click-path (steps taken to reach improper display page) along with browser version (under menu path: Help > About Mozilla Firefox) and nySTART account type. If you are a BUGtrack account-holder, log there. If not, call NYSED's Information and Reporting Services unit at 518-474-7965 for contact info to which to send documentation.
