GED Examiner Training
All Chief Examiners and
Alternate Chief Examiners are
required
to attend a State sponsored staff development training, provided by the GED
Testing Office in Albany, at least once every year. They are held several times
per year, at different locations. Proctors and Clerks are also invited to
attend, but are not required to do so.
GED Test Administration Handbook :
GED Chief Examiners Manual:
All GED Examiner Staff are required to download and review the GED Test Administration Handbook from the GED website and bring the Handbook to Chief Examiner Training. The GED Test Administration Handbook must be on file at each GED test center and ready for use at each GED test session.
E-Mail Address Requirement for GED Examiners:
All GED Examiners, except DOCS staff, are required to have an email address for GEDTS and NYSED communication. Please forward your email address to Kimberly Malcolm, NYS Score Site Director, at kmalcolm@mail.nysed.gov, and please also indicate your status of Chief Examiner or Examiner.
