State grant funds are available for school districts with schools that have
been identified as Schools Under Registration Review (SURR) as of January
2006 and for schools removed from SURR status as of January 2006 to plan,
develop, amend and/or continue to implement the schools’ Comprehensive
Education Plans (CEPs).
Funds will be allocated to schools based on their SURR status. The grant
period is from April 1, 2006 to June 30, 2006.
Please submit an original and three (3) copies of completed application to:

Purpose of Allocation: To support the
planning, development, amendment and/or the continuation of the
implementation of the Comprehensive Education Plans (CEP) of New York State
schools newly identified as Schools Under Registration Review (SURR) and /or
removed from the SURR status as of January 2005.
Grantees: New York State Schools newly identified as SURR
schools and/or removed from SURR status as of January 2005.
Grant Period: April 1, 2006 - June 30, 2006
NOTE: Indirect cost is not allowed with these funds. Grant funds cannot be
used to purchase computers, computer equipment or meals.
