Office of New York City School and Community Services
Due Date: Postmarked by October 5, 2005
State grant funds are available for school districts with schools that have
been identified as Schools Under Registration Review (SURR) to enable
oversight of the restructuring and redesign process in schools that are
farthest from State standards and most in need of improvement.

purpose of providing additional services to SURR schools. Where
multiple SURR schools exist within a district, the allocation should be
distributed equitably amongst the schools based on student enrollment.
Purpose of Allocation: To support activities in New York State
