Application for New and Former
Schools Under Registration Review (SURR)

State grant funds are available for school districts with schools that have been identified as Schools Under Registration Review (SURR) as of January 2005 and for schools removed from SURR status as of January 2005 to plan, develop, amend and/or continue to implement the schools’ Comprehensive Education Plans (CEPs).

Funds will be allocated to schools based on their SURR status. The grant period is from February 18, 2005 to June 30, 2005.

Please submit an original and three (3) copies of completed application to:

General Information

Purpose of Allocation:  To support the planning, development, amendment and/or the continuation of the implementation of the Comprehensive Education Plans (CEP) of New York State schools newly identified as Schools Under Registration Review (SURR) and /or removed from the SURR status as of January 2005.

Grantees:  New York State Schools newly identified as SURR schools and /or removed from SURR status as of January 2005.

Grant Period:  February 18, 2005 - June 30, 2005

NOTE: Indirect cost is not allowed with these funds. Grant funds cannot be used to purchase computers, computer equipment or meals.
