State grant funds are available for school districts with Schools Under Registration Review (SURR) to enable oversight of the restructuring and redesign process in schools that are farthest from State standards and most in need of improvement. Legislation requires that these funds be appropriated for the exclusive purpose of providing additional services to SURR schools. Where multiple SURR schools exist within a district, the allocation should be distributed equitably amongst SURR schools based on student's enrollment.
