Adult Education

Hudson River Center for Program Development Inc. welcomes you to check out its list of adult education resources, products, and websites that will help educators enhance, enrich, and expand the delivery of high quality instruction to adult learners.

The U.S. Department of Education, in response to requests made at the Even Start State Coordinators hosted a series of three interactive webcasts addressing the adult education component in Even Start programs.

  1. The first webcast broadcast on June 30, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern, summarizes scientifically based reading research in adult education.
  2. The second webcast on July 28 focuses on adult reading assessment to practice.
  3. The third on September 22 offers research-based instructional practices and strategies.
