State Education Department staff will conduct Consolidated Application Update and Technical Assistance workshops to review requirements of the 2006-07 Consolidated Local Application Update. The Application Update includes Title I, Parts A and D; Title II, Parts A and D; Title III, Part A; Title IV, Part A; Title V, Part A; and Title VI, Part B. These workshops are for upstate and Long Island LEAs and charter school LEAs.

Attendance at the May 18 workshop is limited to representatives of LEAs/charter school LEAs with schools in need of improvement, corrective action, planning for restructuring, or restructuring status and to representatives of LEAs in need of improvement or corrective action. Staff responsible for completion of the Consolidated Local Application Update in those LEAs are required to attend this workshop. There is no limit on the number of staff allowed to attend.
The May 17, 24 and 25 workshops are meant for staff in all other LEAs and charter school LEAs who are responsible for completion of the Consolidated Local Application Update, including new and veteran Title I coordinators. They are strongly encouraged to attend
so that any questions can be answered.Preregistration is not required.
Food and beverages will not be provided.
Due to the amount of information to be presented and discussed, please adhere to the established time schedule. Please bring all available application materials to the meeting, since handouts at the meeting will be limited.
