Based on a review of the difficulty level of questions on the June 2005 Regents Examination in Mathematics B, the State Education Department is issuing a new conversion chart.  Teachers do not have to rescore the examinations in order to use this new conversion chart.  To determine the student’s new final examination score, find the student’s total test raw score in the column labeled “Raw Score” and then locate the scaled score that corresponds to that raw score.   This scaled score is the final grade on the examination for students.
