11/4/04 - Report of the Mathematics Standards Committee: Today, at the monthly Board of Regents meeting, the Board authorized the release of the Mathematics Standards Committee report that recommends changes to the learning standards in mathematics. The Mathematics Standards Committee has proposed replacing the existing New York State Mathematics, Science and Technology Standard 3 and its seven key ideas with New York State Mathematics Standard 3, Content Strands, Process Strands, and Performance Indicators.
