2/9/07 - 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program:  Due to reductions in the appropriations for this federally-funded program over the past two years, it has been determined that the Department will not have sufficient funds during the 2007-2008 program year to allow for a new round of competition for grant funds.  Funding projections will allow the Department to sustain Round Two and Round Three programs in 2007- 2008.  It is anticipated that the next round of competition will be initiated in the Fall of 2007 for programs to begin on 7/1/08.  Please direct any questions to EMSC21stCCLC@mail.nysed.gov.

1/21/04 -   21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant Awards 2003-2004:  Competitive grant funds to create or expand Community Learning Centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities outside of the regular school hours, primarily for children who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools, as well as literacy and other educational services to their families.
