Neolithic Revolution

Neolithic Revolution

East Africa was initially the homeland of Homo erectus, who displaced earlier humanlike populations. Evidence suggests that these hominids gradually spread outward from Africa and then settled Southwestern Asia, West Asia, and Europe. From there, humankind migrated across Easts Asia, to the Americas, and Australia. By analyzing human DNA, paleontologists and archaeologists now believe that all humans alive today can trace their ancestry to Africa.
