The School Library Services team within Curriculum, Instruction, and Instructional Technology (CI&IT), NYSED, works to provide statewide leadership in school library services and to build awareness of the important impact school library media specialists and school libraries have on student achievement. School Library Services Web pages contain the latest information on NYS legislation, Board of Regents initiatives, Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, guidance, programs, products, and services related to the New York State Learning Standards and Regents core curriculum as they effect school libraries and school library systems.
