Grade 4 Mathematics Test, Book 1
March 6-10, 2006
Chinese Edition Only

This notice pertains to Question 2 of the Chinese edition only of Book 1 of the March 2006
Grade 4 Mathematics Test.
In this edition, Question 2 was translated inaccurately. An adjustment will be made
in scoring so that all students who used the Chinese edition of this test, either
exclusively or in conjunction with the English edition, will not lose credit for
Question 2.
To ensure that these students’ answer sheets are scored correctly, schools must verify
that the circle next to Chinese is darkened in the field marked “Language” or
“Translated Edition” for all students who used the Chinese edition of this test, either
exclusively or in conjunction with the English edition.
Please photocopy this notice and give a copy of it to each teacher administering
the Chinese edition of the Grade 4 Mathematics Test.
